1. Stoudt is starting, which is reason enough, but I'll continue.
2. Fans don't care. Openly have stated this is a "meaningless bowl game", that type of stuff has a trickle down effect and this game will be viewed by EVERYONE, team included, as such. That doesn't bode well for us playing well.
3. OKlahoma run defense. We have struggled to run the ball all year. OU is a top ten team vs the run, which means we'll need to throw the ball! Which means, refer back to number one reason!
4. New Personel. I believe that Tony and Jeff are gonna be great, but breaking in against a pretty tough defense, with possibly the worst starting QB in the history of the University, doesn't bode well for first time play caller.
There it is, Blast away, but come Dec 30th, we'll see who was correct!

Morris did not trust him - how can you trust yourself when your coach has no faith - "20 plays for Cole" broadcasted publically led to the interceptions against GT and Usuc. I think that Chad, when he made that announcement thought that DW would be starting for rest of year. He was trying to excuse himself for the poor offense.

am not trashing anybody. Saying Cole is bad is not trashing him, it's honest. Cole is a nice young man, and I wish him nothing but the best in the future, but facts are facts, and the fact is, he's not good. Does that mean he's a bad person, no, he's a great kid, but he gives us no chance to win and I'd rather see someone else, who will be on the roster next year get some valuable experience!

1. Stoudt has won the majority of games in which he's played the majority of snaps. Really, the only game when he hurt the team was in the GT game. Before that, he was trending upward and had played very well against some good defenses like Wake and BC. Stoudt has obviously not been great this year, but too many people are interpreting his season through the lens of the GT game. That was much worse than he's played all year, and not indicative of his season as a whole.
Clemson can win with Stoudt at QB, but it has to be the Stoudt from the BC/ Wake/ first half of UGa Stoudt, not the Stoudt from the GT game.
2. Fans do care, just not the squeaky wheels of tigernet. This is a pretty good match-up, albeit on a bad day and at a bad time. And no bowl is meaningless when your teams expects to be ranked in the pre-season polls the next year. A poor performance could mean the difference between a playoff spot next year and ending up like Baylor or TCU this year.
3. Oklahoma's run defense is better than their defense as a whole, ranking in at 10th. However, Clemson has won against teams with better rushing defenses (BC, UofL) and better defenses overall (BC, UofL, Wake, Syracuse), even if those teams weren't better overall. Considering that those teams had much better secondaries (OU is 115th is passing yards allowed), I don't think you can just assume Clemson won't be able to do anything against OU. Then again, there was the GT game...
For reference, OU's defense is ranked 53rd, just behind FSU's. The only teams we played this year with a worse overall total defense were GT (14 more yards per game), South Carolina, UNC, and GA. St (granted UNC and Ga St. were much worse than OU).
4. I don't see why Tony and Jeff won't be able to surprise OU with a few plays and get things going. Just having new OCs, who presumable are just going to be running Morris's offense, means we're going to lose.

is completely BS! Have you not Watched the games this year? Georgia 2nd half? FSU, first drive cost us a TD, and therefore the game!, USuC game 1 of 2 for -3 and a pick that resulted in a score?

The Florida State game was lost because of missed field goals, inability to convert in short-yardage situations, and inability to score while in the red zone (e.g. the high snap). In the end, a fumble by CJ Davidson cost us a scoring opportunity, which would have been the winning score.
The incomplete pass by Stoudt was irrelevant as it was just after the start of the game.
Cole Stoudt played ok in the Boston College game. Boston College has a Top 15 defense, and their rushing defense is Top 5. The game was on the road also. He drove down the field fine, but we were still having red zone problems like in the Florida State game, so we left some points on the field. In that game, we had 398 total yards. We had zero turnovers in the game.
Overall, if the same Cole Stoudt that played in the Boston College game shows up, we have a good chance of winning.
In the bowl game, he likely will be the starter, and he's 5-2 in games where he actually started. His losses as an actual starter were to Georgia and Florida State on the road.

I think you are doing a dis-service to our football team and this is why.
Our young men have proven after the georgia loss, that despite the adversity they will continue to fight till the end and finish football games. Dabo has changed the culture to where we give our best always.
I do not see this changing. We will bring our best game, and if we get beat then so be it.
We will not get blasted because there is a lot of pride in our locker room.
We will go 10-3 because these men know how to win games.

We have different coordinators who may game plan differently from the Chad. It won't be completely different, but the tapes are not going to tell the story of what TonyJeff are going to plan.
