i know Mike had some drops early in the season but #### he came back from a broken neck. Once he got it together he was unstoppable. Cain is his own worst enemy. That was a easy touchdown he just dropped. Has happened a lot this year. we are in game 10 man.

And KB just hasn't been able to hit him in stride much this year.
He always has to slow down or come back for the ball making it a jump ball.

he could potentially play with a QB that can bring out his strength. I think he can be similar to Will Fuller. KB2 just can't hit him in stride 30-40 yards down the field. Watson wasn't always a great deep ball thrower, but he connected with Cain enough. Quite a few NFL QBs can as well. He just doesn't fit well as the primary #9 in our system. Not with how we typically utilize that position and not with KB2 at QB.

Member last January when we were down 14-0 against Alabama and that guy caught a short screen pass on the right flat and used his speed and elusiveness to go untouched by the Alabama SEC Terminator Defense ...for about 50 yards to the other end of the football field ? That turned the game into a situation where we went from looking like we were in trouble to everyone going " Oh , that's right ... we really are good enough and our players are very talented and believe in each other even if we don't .. "
That guy was Deion Cain .
Support our players and remember that when you call a particular guy out for being " not as good as " you're usually totally in error or your irresponsible comparison will almost certainly result in a sort of karmic " how do you do " when that player makes a play or plays that save the day or get the team going in a big , big way .

Let Trevor Lawrence get that starting role next year ( if Cain stays ) and I'm sure he'll blossom. The coaches just don't trust Kelly B's arm enough to push the ball down the field on a regular basis.

Oorrrrrr... they just rely on the ground game more this season... not cause of their lack of trust in KB.. but more cause of their trust in us getting it done on the ground whilst controlling the game tempo..
