Wow, Harbaugh just pulled offer of a kid committed since '13

The kid (Erik Swenson) didn't do any thing wrong either. They just pulled his offer 3 weeks prior to signing day and cancelled his official visit without even telling him why. This is very similar to what Petrino did at Louisville last year to that kid from the Columbia area. Clearly Harbaugh didn't want to honor the commitment because he wanted to free up the scholarship for a better player. That's bad business though.

He is a reckless person. He is "sleeping" with recruits, climbing trees....I hope recruits pay attention to things like this but coaches will lie. It's a shame, I feel for this young man.

Harbaugh has been there an entire year. It wasn't like he took the job, looked at some film and called the kid a week later and broke him the news. He waited an entire year, up until 3 weeks before signing day. THIS is why we need an early signing period.
