“Bammer would have won anyway...”

Dec 3, 2018, 7:41 AM

I live in Athens, GA, so I am surrounded by uga fans. Since their loss to bammer on Saturday night, each and every uga fan I have talked with refused to criticize their coach by saying, “bammer would have won anyway, even had we punted.”

Now, I have stated on TNet many times that we, as fans, should be fair with our comments. However, fairness does not extend to blindly refusing to discuss dumb strategy moves. The uga fan has rationalized that no one can withstand the rolling tide of bammer, a truly sad state of affairs indeed!

If the Tigers play a clean game against ND, we can have our chance to prove that sssumption wrong. Go Tigers!

Yeah, that's pretty ridiculous. They had a chance to pin

Bama deep and potentially get the ball back on a relatively short field. There was plenty of time to force a punt and get the ball back.

Also, Bama's FG kicker is terrible this year and Jalen Hurts, despite coming in and playing well, still isn't a great passer. IMO Georgia would've had the advantage in OT.

You have to give Hurts credit. No rust w no warm up. He did a great job

his efficiency. Ran with authority. Threw with authority. Made great decisions. Destroyed the dawgs.

If KB had shown the same amount of development, he'd still be here. Hurts was awesome in relief of Tua.

Would've been a decent 4th and short call.

Laughable to try that on 4th and 11 with Bama in punt safe though.
