Wonder what Dabo thinks of Tom Osborne...

and what Tom Osborne thinks of Coach Dabo? I always respected Coach Osborne's programs at Nebraska and thought he did things "right".

Anyone heard if they have ever discussed one another's approach?

I see discussions on here of our "culture" to other programs and wonder if another successful program from the past would compare.

I was a huge Tom Osborne fan growing up and still am......but I was disappointed in the way he handled Lawrence Phillips.

One thing different back then was 95 scholarship players and no internet. Everybody red shirted. No turnover in the coaching staffs either. Look at Bobby Bowdens staff, Joe Pas, Tom O's, Barry Switzer, etc... Was a different time and the move down to 85 scholarships and the internet I think has changed the game. Adapt and overcome or become extinct....

The continuity Dabo has had is unheard of these days in college football. Grass isn't always greener and the family atmosphere Dabo has built is a testament to that.

Yep I remember the LP issue and was not impressed with that mess but that seemed to be an outlier for the most part.
