Much later in the article, it says in 2017 Bernie's plan cost $32.6 Trillion over 10 years.
That's about $9,000 per person, per year. So under Bernie's 'free' plan, the average family of 4 would pay $36,000 annually for .Gov healthcare.

grad degrees, and you can get over half the population to buy into anything. Dumb people with college degrees seem especially susceptible to this, probably because they vastly over-estimate their intelligence. If I were a scam artist, they are the people I would target.
If you had a masters in cardboard box erecting, and a PHD in underwater bubble blowing, as long as you were affiliated with something official sounding, like the Southern Poverty Pecan Center of Advanced Studies, you could literally get people to set their homes on fire I bet. For no reason too. Just cite some B.S. study that says it's positive for minorities or something. People would do it.
Well, they would probably vote to burn your house down, and then be surprised when it was their turn.
