That's kinda weird, if you ask me.

I wish I had a billion dollars. Or unlimited wishes. I'm certainly not going to waste wishes on additional scoks!

And shooting a high-brass 12 gauge shell holding a pistol-grip shorty shotgun is NOT easy.

Never done it but I reckon you just need to brace for it

like learning your shoulder in.

The key word is pistol-grip....

Feb 26, 2013, 11:53 AM

Your hand takes the impact your shoulder would normally take. It's not so bad with a low-brass shell. But try pulling off five rounds with 00 buck shells and see how your hand feels. No way most women could do that. Heck most men would have trouble doing it.

I'm talking about a gun like this:

I'm aware, that's why I said like leaning your shoulder in while shooting with a normal stock.

I'd imagine something like locking your wrist so the impact is transferred to your forearm?

That's why you see everyone shooting them at waist level

The lower you hold it the better because your arms can absorb the recoil. Hold it at chest level and you're in trouble. Also, either way your hand will hurt like ####. You actually don't want to hold it as tight as you can, because that hurts more than if you have a weaker grip.

That being said, a short barrel shotgun is the best home defense weapon you can have.

I has that gun....an 8 shot Persuader...

I have a recoil reducing KNOXX Specops stock on it though.

Right on.

Feb 26, 2013, 12:09 PM

Mossberg 590 marinecote with KNOXX Specops stock. Anyone using a shotgun with no stock for defense purposes is asking to get robbed AND neutered.

We need more of them in combat. Yeah.***

Why would Biden tell his wife to use a shotgun and not

Feb 26, 2013, 11:56 AM

Just tell one of the 10 armed agents that are with her at all times to check out whatever made her nervous?

She's a doctor. She's trained to kill people #deathpanels***
