Wolf of Wall Street (no spoilers)

I have never seen so many newd women, alcohol and drugs in a movie. At times it was borderline offensive (thats saying something if I find it offensive) and out of control with some of the things that Jordan Belfort was doing. Im not sure how accurate the movie is, but I imagine it couldnt be THAT far off. The ending was rough to watch seeing how he fell, his family, and his company fell apart, I dont care how bad of a person you may think he is, its still bothersome to see someones life crumble right in front of your eyes.
Once again, lots of newd wimmen. Wood recommend, and wood see again, but probably not as a date (looking at you, Aero). It is easily pitched to a male audience that has little morality, such as the majority of inhabitants of this board

I got the book for Xmas, should I try and knock out the book this weekend and then see the movie? Or will reading the book and knowing the story ruin the movie somewhat?
Oh and I promise I won't be one of those "THE BOOK IS SO MUCH BETTER" people

But ive read a Forbes article check facting the movie to the book. It lines up.
I guess it just depends whether you want to read the book and envision the scenes as youd like, then see the movie and see how Scorsese portrayed them or the other way around: Watch the movie, then as you read the book remember how extravagantly it was portrayed on screen
