Wofford schedule is out. Why was that game not moved

Nov 21 to match the SECs "Schedule a cupcake before your rival" week. The coots are playing The Citadel that week. I swear we are our own worst enemy sometime. The ACC will probably send us to Syracuse for an 8pm week before the coots. Maybe we are getting a bye week or a Thursday night game on the 18th but I don't trust the ACC scheduling.

From what the coots are now, I don't think we need a cupcake before them

My guess is we play Wake Forest the weekend before the Coots

Wake Forest is probably the 2nd easiest team on our schedule behind Wofford. I think App. State and Wake are about even, but I'd give the Mountaineers a slight edge.
It's difficult though because there are probably 4-5 games on the schedule next year that are going to be more difficult than SC. FSU, Louisville, ND, and GT are all going to be better than the Coots, and Miami or NC State could end up being better than SC as well. I'd rather have an easier game or a bye-week the week before playing those teams than I would before playing an average SC team.

I don't trust the ACC either but in fairness.....

Clemson schedules all of its own OOC games so if we end-up with a much tougher opponent the week before the rivalry game, we have no one to blame but outselves.

I think it's a great thing

I'd rather play two easy games first this year with #4 coming off that knee surgery. It gives us a chance to get the backups some PT early in the year. Our two hardest games this year are going to be FSU and ND imo...better to get FSU early after a cupcake with them replacing so much talent on their team.

Meh. Syracuse > Wofford , but just by a screckle. We would beat either team without much effort.

than any other team in the league.
That said, I do think you're right; if Watson doesn't sustain the knee injury, we absolutely light them up offensively.

Kyle Young or TDP being on the radio for an interview saying all future games with instate FCS opponents would be moved to the week before the coots negating what the SEC does. What happened? Was this idea lost under DRAD and the current admin.

I'm hoping we play Bama the week prior to the chickens. The chickens will get curb-stomped at willybrice this year. Memories of 63-17 will be the topic that day.
Besides - we've already circled that game.
