Because of all the adversity he has already had to endure. Like a Phoenix, he will rise above all.
I want him to have success for him and his family, whether at Clemson or elsewhere. The fact that he plays for my alma mater truly makes me proud, but most important is for HIM to achieve HIS dreams.

It's improvise and adapted, and he saw the person that loved him the most, and the person he loved the most do that very well. DW4 had to watch his mother improvise and adapt from much worse than what he was facing. He learned from his mother what he had to do, he had to pick himself back up, dust himself off and make it back. He is back, and he is bigger and stronger, and I believe he will be better from doing what his mother taught him he had to do, improvise and adapt.

When I first heard about taking a number out of retirement for a recruit, I thought we were setting a bad precedent. But again Dabo could see something special in this young man. I did not think about the jersey number during the Ga. Tech game or the South Carolina game. It just hit me after watching this video of Watson and his Mother. Our best to his Mom. Thanks again Mr. Fuller.
