At some point he will make a big time play on defense this game. He has to stay in since we have the lead and even if we didn’t he still would be in since Byrd isn’t healthy enough. The only way he ever comes out is if jolly pinch hits for him in a crucial late game situation without the lead

if it wasn't for his play at third. guy on third, slow roller, strong throw across to get the runner. score would have been 4-3 and a demoralizing blow we probably wouldn't come back from. sometimes you have to bite the bullet and have a guy like Cromwell in the lineup. better yet, who do you put in that spot? ill wait.
