do you think should be on the shortlist at USCjr in 2021?

Tommy Tubberville -Sec Coaching Experience
Bobby Petrino -fits the culture
Terry Bowden -SEC coaching experience AND they could steal one from Clemson.

thoughts?

My first guess would be any former UF coach... Ewlain?

Dave Doeren - mostly because NCSU's academic standards were to much of a challenge for him.

Urban Myer would be a prime candidate. If he would have quit mid season at OHST, he'd be a lock.

Vote for Petrino to take his cycle to Columbia .... definitely a culture fit and he could complete their cycling in !!

Last I heard, Petrino's girlfriend works at UofSuc. That should go well.

It has to be someone that is well known by name only. That is what they do. They think they are a prestigious school that has very high standards. Don't know how that came about because they certainly do not.

They will over pay a washed up name. They are so predictable. Maybe Lou can come back and spit on people when they interview him about his most resent lose.

Yeah, and he was paid $12 million to go 2-10 and get a 77-16 beating.

On a positive note, his offense did as well as Alabama.

Lou Holtz is coming back for a second helping and to try and improve on that 63-17 loss.

Dave Doeren. He's a perfect fit for their culture.

Hugh Freeze, my spidey sense tells me he's the next rooster to run the coop after muschamp is turned into a chicken dinner

They'd be nuts to fire Muschamp. He's already won

yet another preseason title for them again this year.
Joking aside he's the best man for the job right now there in Columbia. Unless a coach is just horrible at a school these days I think the coach deserves at least five years to build if not seven.
Spurrier left that program bone dry. On top of that he jetted mid-season to make it worse. They were actually fortunate to get Muschamp in that dilapidated environment!

Lane Kiffin

Still don't think that Kiffen is ready to take a job at a high paying school at this time as a middle finger to his ex-wife. If he gets a big payday, she still gets a good amount of it which is why he's still coaching small time.

That just means they could get him at a bargain. SC & Kiffin would be a perfect match. He's pretty much Steve Spurrier without the wins. They're the USC without the trophy case.

The ONLY coach they could hire that would concern me at UofSuc is Art Briles. He would be a perfect fit for their culture.

They would probably throw 12 Million a year at BV and try to bust up our dynasty. They're always talking on their boards about SEC money. Don't think he would go there but on the other hand 12 mil is 6 years' worth his current salary. He's one we really need to take care of.
