My guess is the early line reflects the assumption Sammy

is out. I'd be willing to give 7. I think we cover rather easily.

With or without Sammy we should win ... we are top to bottom a better offense (even with an inexperienced line) and Auburn replaces its QB, and has lost its only real RB threat to transfer in Dyer . I say that we should win ... and should cover. Nuke , Charone and Martavis are seriously underrated and will show what depth we have at the position . Lets not forget about Adam and new guy Germone Hopper . Im gonna call it Clemson 27 Auburn 17

Without seeing our O and D lines in action... I wouldn't hazard even a guess.
I will, however, be hoarse after the game from yelling GO TIGERS!!!!

Don't know how anyone can successfully wager on Clemson

Our team is so schizophrenic you never know what to expect. I will be ecstatic if Dabo can figure out how to get our guys to play with some consistently this year.
Given what happened the last team we played in that stadium against a team from Alabama I would be inclined to take Auburn and the points if I was a third party observer, especially considering Sammy Watkins will probably be absent. There's no doubt in my mind we have enough talent to beat those guys, but with the question marks on both lines and this staff, I just don't know what to expect. Last year we seemed to start slow against the Troy and Wofford. Then we looked like a different team against Auburn. Sadly, I can't reasonably expect Saban-like preparedness out of the gate, until proven otherwise.

I have a lot of confidence vs. Allbarn because of their huge

losses on offense: MALZAHN, NEWTON, Dwyer (Dyer? can't remember which it is), Ziemba. There is no way they're anywhere as good on offense as they were the last two years. Their D may be better, but we're gonna put some points on the board, I don't care who we play.

Him, too. We pretty much burned their D last year, though. I expect them to be a bit better. Point for mentioning fairly, though.

We've got mental questions. They have personal questions

They lost Dyer and they're QB and they have a new OC, DC, QB, unimpressive WR and TE and unproven RB. They are one huge question mark in terms of talent and coaching. We've got no such question in our talent, it's just if they will grow up soon enough.

That Alabama team we played there last time turned out to be one of the 3 or 4 best teams in the country that year. I just don't see that kind of threat from Auburn. Also, they've lost Malzahn, who was the brains of that operation...

hopefully,bv has a better answer for that than ks did. he has faced some very good offenses in his days at ou, and rgIII was as good as they come.

improved this year due to replacing BOTH coordinators and then immediately said that Clemson's D was questionable after the debacle against WV and may have to work out some glitches on defense. His reason...Brent Venebals having just come on board? I don't get it? SEC replaces two coordinators and it's an upgrade, ACC replaces one and they created question marks? WOW.

their WR group isn't as good is ours, but they have talent. and their TE is probably one of the best in the nation, and their running back group is good. i was especially impressed with that RB transfer from Florida in their spring game.

You can't ever bet on your team..... Too much bias and get your heart broken, but the sure bet on Clemson is when were less than 2 spread against wofford
