I hate that he left, but I'd love to see him with the Chadster at SMU.
He'd get a ton of playing time to show off his stuff to the NFL scouts.
Nothing but the best of luck to Tyshon Dye.

I hope he goes to SMU and balls out, then gets drafted. He deserves it with all the bad luck he's had with injuries.

Best of Luck to Him

Both good choices. I'd rather see him at SMU because I think he'd be a star there under Chad, but Richt at Miami is a good guy too. Only reason I'd prefer him at SMU over Miami is lower possibility of him having to play against us.

I thought than when a player transferred, he couldn't go to a school in the same conference where they would compete against the team that they transferred from???

Depends on the terms the coaches come to when signing a release. Generally, Dabo seems to just let them go do their thing, to help the boys succeed. Some of the more hard nosed guys will make it difficult to leave.

Always liked Dye, and hate he never got to prove himself due to injuries. Hopefully he'll go to SMU & show everyone what he can do. Good luck, you'll always be a Clemson Tiger!

Good point.....unless he's going to sit a year. I couldn't imagine that with all the down time he's already had. (injuries, etc.)

Will always pull for Tyshon

Tyshon gave his best for Clemson and I understand his dilemma. He wants to play more and it has been difficult getting snaps with the Tigers.

Me too. I met him at the mall one day and found him to be such a nice young man. Always pulled for him after that. Best of luck Tyshon.

Good news for us is we have others who were believed to be better. Bad news for him is it didn't work out at Clemson for him. I wish him luck.

I don't know about better other than Wayne Train. Feaster was a Freshman and has potential but not yet. No way are fuller or choice better than Dye. I know he got hurt but still thought he should have gotten more of a look. He would've been a better change of pace IMO.

I leave the evaluation of players to the coaches who see them every day. I trust their judgement, now, and if they didn't see him as the guy to replace Gallman, then I won't argue the point. Great news for Clemson fans is we have several more who are very gifted athletes who will get their chance. I hope one of them is the best we ever had. I will hope that again next year, too, and so on. I do with Dye great success wherever he lands and in whatever he does in life, though. As far as I know he is a first class guy.

I really liked Ty Dye, i personally thought he was a more physical runner then any backup. He played with a ton of aggression. Truly going to miss him and will pull for him wherever he goes. Good luck TD!
