Default How did DeShaun Watson look at today's practice?
If the first day is any indication, Deshaun Watson will not be playing this fall.
His passes were under thrown and off the mark the whole time we were out there. Plus it looked as if he forgot the plays a couple of times. He had a bad day. Granted he can improve and I'm sure he will, but I doubt he is going to get that much better before the fall.
It's obvious that Stoudt's and Kelly's experience will keep them in front of him for at least the next year.
Now haters begin!

well the kid is probably nervous and is learning a playbook that is second nature to the other two guys. I dont expect to see him start but I dont think you can draw much of a conclusion based on this

We are getting ready to post my observations, and I saw a kid who was a little jittery at times but looked pretty good. In fact, none other than Jets head coach Rex Ryan was raving about him. It's easy to see the talent.

School, throwing crisp, on-target spirals in his first major practice at a BCS bowl winning University...oh wait, never mind  He's entitled to his opinion, and I get that, but it's way too early to slam the kid. "He looked nervous, but at times made some good throws" would have been more appropriate...GO TIGERS!!!
