Will G-hop be on the kick off receiving team this year?

Jun 4, 2014, 9:27 AM

We need a speedster, Humphries is not fast enough. I want to see some returns this year. Haven't had that type of excitement since CJ-Spiller.

Hopper is more shifty than fast

Right now, Peake is lid at kick returner, I believe.

Big risk to have Peake on the Receiving team someone will

target his Knee. Besides Peake is fast but he is a tall guy, for the best results of kick off, we need someone quick.

Use the young freshmen whom trying to make a name for themselves. offensively or defensively. Most of them do well in this area. Especially the ones with the blazing forty times.

Not sure, think Peake might be the guy there and

watch for TJ Green as a wild card.

On punts Humphries and Alexander.

Keep an out out for the freshman receivers, not sure of their return abilities just think one may emerge.

Don't think it really matters

Jun 4, 2014, 9:30 AM

The new kick-off rules have basically made kick returns obsolete. I would however like to see some changes at punt returner besides just a fair catch every time.

Re: Don't think it really matters/ I forgot about that rule

I concur. Scott is lethal in space and he would instantly change the punt return game for the Tigers. Nothing against Humphries, but Scott can swing the pendulum in the Tigers favor in regards to field position each time he touched the ball.

As long as he can consistently catch the kicksoffs/punts

Jun 4, 2014, 3:11 PM

He should be a very good returner. He's the kind of player who could get far down field as long as he gets past the first wave.
