Living in Columbia

Just moved to Columbia and listening to Coot radio everyday is hysterical. They spend two hours talking about drama surrounding the women’s basketball program and Dawn Staley on a daily basis?????It’s great marketing though bc they know Clemson fans will listen to have a good laugh everyday!

Nothing against you but Columbia is the Arm Pit of SC.

You're giving them too much credit. They're more like the bootyhole of SC.

That’s not a water tower in Columbia, it’s an enema.

Been living in NE Cola since Labor Day, 1990. During the five hrs of football losses it was no fun, but the tide has turned and Tiger fans have much to be thankful for to say the least! We just need to keep reminding Usuck and their fans who is best.
Go Tigers!

Two corrections to my earlier post:
I have resided in NE Cola since late 1991 after also living in nearby Camden for most of 1980s.
My initial post auto-corrected, I.e. (five years of losses, not five hours!)
The Usuck GC fans often are pain, but they have no real clue about winning except for Women’s basketball after 2013.
Go Tigers!

Yep I feel you man. Me too. We're just north of Columbia but work in Columbia. It's no picnic. Besides the rival fan-base, I mean, their main marketing ploy for the city is being famously miserably hot! Who thought of that? No good rock concerts come here....sorry for all of you Miley Montana and Kenny Chesney fans but that's just not my thing. But the Arena has only SC WBB, monster trucks, Disney on Ice and then Kenny Chesney like 3-4 times a year (my estimate). Ugh. But anyway....to the OP, you are not alone. We have several Tigers in our office. We all wear our orange and go out into enemy territory for lunch every day. Because.....two things: Fat Boy gonna eat and Fat Boy gonna wear orange. Stay strong. Leave when you can.

I have lived in Columbia for the last 14 years and it has been an "adventure". When Clemson loses everyone is happy and when Clemson wins my flag gets torn down or destroyed.
