Wife and I going away to Atlanta this weekend

We're staying around Alpharetta. No kids. No plans. I'm sure we'll have a few free minutes when we're not banging it out like teenagers. Any recommendations for beers, foods, activities?
If you're wondering why, the answer is that daughteradidas got kicked out of her dance studio for giving a Native American Sunburn to a classmate. We had booked the hotel for a dance competition that we won't be attending. SarahAdidas channeled her innerhebrew to buy discounted non-refundable rooms.
I digress. Any think we should do besides bone in Alpharetta?
Anybody have a good remedy for long recovery time for the human male erection?

Because she's a 6 year old MMA fighter trapped in a dancer's body.
Now that dance is over, I'll have about $12K/year extra in my pocket, so no tears from me.

If there's something specific you want to do, then fine---the aquarium is great, and so is the High Museum. Krog Street Market and Ponce City Market (and Skyline Park on the roof) are both worth visiting, plus you can take a stroll along the eastern Beltline. Although they all get pretty busy on the weekends.
If you don't want to drive and prefer to spend time walking, check out Canton Street in downtown Roswell---it is super close to Alpharetta, with some really good food and live music venues.

I've never been, but a lot of people in my office like it (bunch of squares). Outdoor mall or some #### with places to walk and all that. DT Roswell is a cool vibe that may be close to where you're staying.
Gate City Brewery in Roswell is pretty sweet. Jekyll is in Alpharetta, but I'm not as big of a fan.
I don't live there so that's all I got. Only reason I go up there is for shows at Verizon, but I don't think those start up for a month or so.
