Why not have the ACCCG at the home of team with best record?

PAC does it, maybe others do it too I'm not sure. But I see the ACCCG attendance being a real problem no matter who is in it unless it is played at home of the team with the best record or highest rating.

This is the answer. Put the game on the home campus of highest ranked ACC team and it becomes a sellout in 2 hours. Problem fixed. Why does the commish not see this already?

Coastal home site one year and Atlantic the other. With 9 conference games best record might suffice.

But agreed, it would help to have it at a home site. Recent attendance has been dreadful. On the other hand, sad it would have to come to this...giving one team in a championship game a huge advantage over the other.

I like it being in Charlotte. The first 2 years there were sell outs. The Coastal division has just been crappy the past 2 years. And what happens when Miami is the highest ranked going into a conference championship game? That would suck to have to make 2 trips down to the Orange Bowl.
