receptions in 12 games?
I love Hunter, and he means a ton to our team, but he hasn’t come close to putting up All-American numbers this year.

No, he will not make an A-A team if all you did was look at a sheet of paper, but his value to the (probably) #1 team in the country can't be disputed. When your QB throws to 11 different receivers in a game, one receiver isn't going to get a number of catches in the course of a season. I wouldn't trade him for anyone.

Words can't express how imporant he is to our success, but he has 50 catches for 526 yards and 3 touchdowns on the year. Those just aren't All-American numbers.

Because he hasn't caught 235 catches and 20 td's in a conference where they play zero defense. That seems to be how they determine all-americans
