Takes too long to freshen their on-camera make-up. Games would go from 3+ hours to 7+ with all the stuff they do...

Based on the interview I saw of her, I would say it is because she is exceptionally well qualified, came up through the ranks like all NFL referees and is highly respected by the folks that make the decisions about which referees to hire and put on the field. Other than that, I have no idea.
