Why is Paul Finebaum on TV?

I have never been a fan of putting a radio show on TV. Howard Stern, Mike and Mike, they just don't work. But Paul Finebaum takes the cake!! You mean to tell me the mighty SEC network couldn't come up with something better to put on TV than 2 hours of this guy?
Out of morbid curiosity I tuned in last night for a few minutes. Apparently the trailer parks in Alabama are very near Verizon towers b/c all of the callers were Bammer fans!!! Some of them were sober!

Here are a couple ideas for the brain trust at the SEC network. I will call it
"Things that don't suck as bad as the Paul Finebaum show!!
10. College fishing!
9. Women's Rowing
8. Womens volleyball
7. SEC Baby chick stomping!! (you can get a scholly at Bammer for that)
6. Pimpin ain't easy: The ESPN - SEC relationship up close!
5. International Curling
4. Great academic achievements of the SEC!! (15 second infomercial played on a loop for 2 hours)
3. Anything hosted by Ben Stein
2. Nobody does "it" better than me: Hosted by Steve Spurrier
1. Great moments in South Carolina football! (60 second infomercial played on a loop for 2 hours)

Finebaum is an idiot that likes to stir the pot for ratings. I recommend not watching as he has a face that is definitely made for radio. I also recommend not listening to his radio show because of my first sentence in this post...

I noticed that when he had his show on XM. No matter the topic, the day, the time, someone who's house has wheels was going to be the next caller. Sports show callers in general are the lowest common denominator in the world. But most shows will get at least one or two callers per day that have read something more advanced that the #### and Jane novels. Not ole Paulie.


Or I guess we could just say, SEC fans call into sports shows and he caters to the SEC.
