Why doesn't Vic Beasely play more?

Sep 18, 2012, 1:41 PM

He was in on auburn's final drive, and played exceptional, but other than that I haven't noticed him in much, always either goodman or crawford (both of whom I believe are really underperforming).

Think we see more of him this weekend? Or if not, why so?

He's basically a pass rushing specialist.

If it's 3rd and 14, you'll definitely see him in there. Too small to consistently hold up against the run.

Because he weighs in at 225. Going up against OT that weigh close to 300.

Basically he can run around them, but if they get their hands on him there's probably not much he can do.

Typical college coaches trying to make football into rocket science. How about go tackle the guy with the football.

None of our LBS can cover anyone. We might as well blitz them everytime. Samething with Beasley. DE is an easy position. Go get the QB on pass plays and stretch out the play on a run.

I wonder the same. So little production from 97 and 93.

Goodman is a solid player that stays at home, but geeze how about a sack every now and then!

You haven't noticed him. He has played, just hasn't been as productive. He has incredible speed off the ball... I am think there is a huge upside for Vic and his future as a Tiger.
