the divisions, the only thing I want to see is Clemson and FSU in separate divisions as rivals. Then put GT in our division. It's a win win for the people who want to keep GT on our schedule every year. Plus if we take care of business in conference play like we did this year on a consistent basis; then we are all but a lock for the ACC championship.

Why does there always have to be a cross-division rival?

I think they should put rivals in the same division as much as possible and then rotate through all the teams in the other division equally. That seems more fair.

Another option is to have no divisions. Each team rotates through the whole league equally every two years or so and the top two teams play in the championship game. (Except that I don't think that is legal now. I think there must be two divisions to have a championship game.)
