Why does everyone on here get so appalled when TL runs the ball?

This offense is far better when the qb run game is a threat. It gives the defense more to prepare for and think about. It gives us a plus one numbers advantage in the run game. It’s part of the Clemson offense.

Just because we haven’t had to use it as much lately doesn’t mean it’s not in the playbook anymore. We needed it yesterday because nothing else was working. Trevor is not made of glass. He’s a big strong physical man out there. Like Dabo says, you can’t play the game scared. Running the qb was one of the only good calls the offensive staff made yesterday.

TL doesn't know how to keep his head out of trouble. Part of the problem is his height, but he has to go down to the ground more decisively and not leave himself open to an easy head shot.
