Why does Morris continue to run the QBs

Nov 16, 2014, 2:06 PM

When they are injured? Im.sure this has been asked but I want to know why. I know this is part of Morris 's offense and what he wants to do with his QBs but when there injured why run them? Very first series yesterday, Deshaun got called for a QB ruin after missing out 4 wks. When Watson got reinjured and Cole came in, despite Cole obviously having a nagging shoulder injury, guess what the first play was? If u guess another QB run well your right. Like i said, I understand this is what Morris wants to do with his offense and quarterbacks. We usually gain positive yards when Morris does call those plays. I have no problem with Morris calling those plays. But what I do have a problem with is when morris calls those plays when Watson wasnt 100% & Cole definitely isn't 100%. You would think as good as Morris has been at his play calling over the years, we could find something else just as effective. Just my 2 cents

hand... If anything it was more dangerous for him to stand in the pocket and use his injured hand to throw.

It is being so reliant on this because we seem to run

The ball more effectively with our qb than actually having a running game that has people so frustrated with it. We do it out if necessity, not to expose a defensive weakness.

Not saying he should not have done what was would have

Worked best. Just now people are going to question it because it seems to be such a needed component because of lacking a true run game and it is a recurrent theme

If you take away the QB running then his offense just does not work.

I think Morris did exactly what he felt

Would be effective against gt. And it was working beautifully until the injury. Sometime bad luck strikes and the better team doesn't always win.

I would have done the same thing if I felt it would win the game .

When a player cuts quickly wearing cleats

the cleats may catch in the ground and cause these type injuries. Its part of the game.

I'm sure he'd be willing to give you a football 100 level lecture.
