Hey guys, sorry for bringing Louisville topics back to the top but thought I would let you know why.

PJCS stadium was built on a former rail yard. There is still a major North/South rail that is along the west side of the stadium that Central Avenue aka "Denny Crum Pass" passes over.

In that railyard.....which employed hundreds back in the hey-dey there was train horn that sounded for begin/end of shifts and lunch. That same train horn was kept/preserved when UofL bought the lan and is now in PJCS and sounds when we score.

Attached is a pic that shows the rail that still exists along the stadium. Where the stadium and parking lot now stands was probably 30 or so different rails that L&N parked many of their trains.
