Why did we abandon the run?

don't get me wrong, I love Chad Morris, his offense has been great. But at the same time I feel like there has been a common thing that bothers me. He seems to abandon the run way to early. When we had the ball down three, only sucess we'd had was a random deep ball and we ran the ball great with ellington all game. We had plenty of time, but instead of running the ball we dropped back too many times and made Tajh clowney bait. I just don't understand that, it seemed simple to me, run the ball

Ellington and McDowell were succesful running, but only had 18 or 19 carries between them. Quit on the run way to soon. Bad habit of his as far as I'm concerned. Also didn't try enough quick short passes.

Thought was the case in last year's game against SC, and this year's game. Seems like anytime we get behind, we totally abandon the run. Overall, I like Morris though.
