Who would have thought??

Jun 7, 2019, 4:43 PM

When we went to the first natty and lost. ( of course the way we played I felt the first assurance That we could play with Alabama.) who would have thought 3 years later we would have 2 National Championships and only one by Watson? I have stood on one championship for 30 something years. And who can actually name the point where Clemson went from almost there to dominating Alabama and ND? It has just happened so fast. I remember fearing a top 10 team and actually praying that we fought hard. To destroying the #1 and # 3 team by 4 touchdowns. Tiger fans of the lean times. It’s time to reflect. I watched the 2003 FSU Clemson game today. Dabo’s first season at Clemson and it shows him. He looks like a kid, but it’s crazy to see the talent difference.
Go back and check it out.

Credit they're due. They've won titles...and lost. Each of Clemson, Florida State, and Florida won their first Natties at the Huskers' expense. Kinda interesting...and hospitable, don'tcha think? :)
