That Trump has never been a conservative Republican. Ever. And his actions before he ran proves it.
Y'all were duped hard.

His policies for the most part have been conservative...lower taxes, pro-defense, anti-illegal immigration, pro-business.
You can call him whatever you want....

But you do. You've been one of the ones yelling "Libs! Libtards!" when people here speak out against Trump and his terrible policies. He has proven time and time again he's not conservative. He supports increased spending, big government, fewer states' rights, etc. His past history shows he's not conservative. But you quickly label anyone opposed to him as a "lib".

No one believed he was a conservative. He was elected for the same reasons Satan would have been elected had he ran in 2016 - the opponent was Hillary Clinton.

Absolutely false no one believed that. Plenty still believe it. Especially since his supporters immediately attack anyone who disagrees with him as a "lib" or a "libtard". Or just The Left.
We're not going to let y'all suddenly play the "we never thought he was conservative!" card. Yes, y'all did.
But I at least agree with you on the Hillary part.

he is a Conservative in the means that he respects this Country, wants to close borders, wants a strong military (while bringing troops home and not starting conflict) he pays homage to a more 80's style America where hard work was still something that was good and desired. I think that he harkens back to a time where money was flush in the streets and people were happy.
I think Democrats/Liberals just want conflict and want a way of life that leads no where near happiness for the masses. Obama wanted conflict, Holder wanted conflict, Harris wants conflict its what makes them strong.

with the way he presented himself in the campaign, regardless of label, seems to indicate that nobody was "duped."
I understand some people are shocked, but I'm not sure why they would be. He is who I thought he was.

to meet the one who said, "I support Trump because he holds to a conservative mindset." Maybe that guy is out there, and maybe he got fooled, but I haven't met him. But I don't know everybody, so I am sure he exists. Fine.
In the campaign I can remember having only one Trump moment. Was in one of the debates, when a CNN reporter tried to get him on his "bankruptcies, and how those hurt his partners", a question which was ignorant of, or purposely ignored, how the hotel business works. Trump started to explain, then stopped in mid sentence, looked at the questioner and said, "Wait a minute. You're worried about the banks? The banks?? Look, those guys are killers. They're fine, trust me." I admit, I thought it...."I love this guy."
But on election night I thought, "Holy cow, now what?" Dodged the Hillary bullet, poked my head back up to see a freight train. Holy Trepidation, Batman. But he has grown on me. He did what his immediate predecessors were afraid to do, which is tell China the free ride is over. He backed off the mid east quagmire, turning down more opportunities to shoot than any president in 25 years. He typically lets states decide what they want to do about regulatory matters. I hold budget matters against him, but with covid there is no real way to know. Projections were that at the economic growth rate as of January the budget could be balanced again, but we won't know what might have happened.
I would not have signed the hastily thrown together multi trillion dollar bail-out bills that he did. Shut down was the wrong reaction to covid, bail out the wrong fix. If the states want to shut a business down, let the states deal with what happens. If con is what you're looking for, a multi trillion dollar bail-out is not it. We're not out of the economic woods on this, and a lot a economists are saying destructive inflation is not if but when.
I would have taken Fauci off my team in March, not for his factual takes - which have been mundane ("this is really contagious") - but because of his policy rhetoric. Policy is above his pay grade, and he needs to shut up about it. Whatever he wanted to say about policy had already been said in Oval office, and it should stay there. MacAuthur and other generals have been fired for the same reason. I would not have kept him around this long. We're not short of scientists / doctors.
All that is just imo, nothing I am going to argue about because it's not my point. Am just saying that I don't know whether that is con or lib, but he fits some pragmatics we have avoided for too long, and caved on some others.

You missed your Trump hating opportunity.
Your poast should have been:
Trump donated to Kamala Harris's campaign for California's Attorney General. When Harris was AG she increased felony convictions, increased minority convictions, and increased sentences for minor offenses. This just proves that Trump hates minorities and wants them locked up.

No one expected Trump to be a conservative and none of us believed the tripe about him being racist.
Heck, he filed suit against the Palm Beach authorities to allow minorities to invest in and join Maralago and other local whites only resorts there. He won, Trump is why blacks, with enough money can join the ultra wealth in Palm Beach, FL.
That was back in the 1980s.
You believed your own lies.

You do realize that big time businessmen donate to all sorts of candidates regardless of political party, right?
