I don't get the 3-star rating either - looks like a 4-star

easily. He looks like a natural RB, and a very good one. I know there is talk of using him at DB, but if he's as good at DB as he is at RB, I'll be thrilled.

players or a sparq team? As a football player, he looks great. His supposed limitations don't seem to limit him that much on the field.
Not directed at you, DSP, but against the conventional wisdom that is hung up on measurables instead of how they perform on the field and ignoring the eye test.

playing the foosball, they can't possibly keep up & i'm sure give others, not just fuller, 'initial' stars based on cursory research.
coaches are on these kids for years. you know they don't check what rivals thinks, they offer football players, and it's why i love lawing's 'stars' quote so much.
now that fuller's committed & appears solid, i'm not sure what emphasis they'll place on reevaluating him. they might wait until the last eval period before addressing him again, idk, i just don't follow them closely.
i'd be shocked if he doesn't go up once his senior year gets in full swing and he garners a bunch more pub.

DSP, CJ's Forty time is 4.47 / 100 meter is 10.39. Dalvin Cook's Forty is 4.5 / 100 meter is 11.18. That sounds good to me my friend. Having watched him in person CJ appears faster than the times listed. I'm excited to see how he does for our Tigers!

He is going to be a great one. I know many on here talk about getting a big sized rb. Never thought we needed a huge rb. We are so diversified on offense and believe the coaches have done a wonderful choosing Rbs.

This kid don't wait a second while carrying the football. Yes. he reads his blocks well, great vision, cut and go, north-south runner with power and breakaway speed. He does looks like CJ Spiller running away from the defenders.

3 stars might be low, but...

He is a little small, even for a RB, but he can bulk up. Also, nobody has seen him run out of anything other than that weird wishbone variant formation (or whatever that is), that no college I've seen runs on a regular basis, which his high school obviously does. What I really like: he runs for yards, not TDs, meaning he just plows forward instead of dancing too much. His cuts all resulted in extra yards. He has good vision out of this formation, but I wonder about the pistol or anything else we run...he will run into a lot more contact at Clemson, too.

5'10" 200 is not even a little small for a RB coming out of high school.
