Who else is tired of hearing the expression.......

Dec 14, 2012, 9:34 AM

"RG3?" I wish they'd call him by his name. Another thing, I don't see why since he's an adult now he has to still call himself Robert Griffin III - just call himself Robert Griffin.

It won't go away. Kind of like A-Rod.

Peyton Manning P-Man or Tom Brady T-Brad.

I'll take RG3 over Johnny Football everyday of the week.

But in all honesty, I'm guessing the RG3 has turned more into a marketing ploy over the last few years.

ARod, Drod, Kmac, DWade. If you need a nickname at least get something with some imagination.

As far as I can tell he prefers the "III" designation

Dec 14, 2012, 10:06 AM

Note that it's on his jersey, which is fairly unusual. It's his trademark, kind of like Michael J. Fox always uses a middle initial.
