I think Coach Leggett needs to show up with a plan in one hand and his resignation letter in the other and let DR decide which one to accept.

Who can we get?

Jun 4, 2014, 2:57 PM

Who can we get as coach that is better? I am asking not in defense of Jack, because I'm not defending him, I do think it is time for a change, but not just a change for change sake. When numbers are actually crunched and names of people actually interested are considered, who can we get? We got lucky with Dabo. He was unproven and inexperienced but despite what the idiots say, he has done a good job. The Clemson baseball job right now is not attractive and the reason why is the facility. It is quaint and nostalgic and that does not mean jack squat to an 18 year old that is only going to get a partial scholarship. I think we are screwed because if we do make a coaching change we are going to have to get lucky like we did with Dabo because and experienced big name is not coming.

1) Jack, do you think that we were competitive with top programs in the conference and in the state the last 4 years?

2) do you think that we were competitive with top programs in the conference and in the state this past season?

3) What leads you to think we will be competitive with top programs in the conference and in the state next season?
