"Man they've really struggled more than we thought they would".
He said that right after us having the longest win streak in the country was mentioned. I'll take that "struggle" every day of the week.

they successfully planted the "Clemson's schedule is historically weak" narrative (we've played a top 20 schedule so far and will probably end up in the middle of the pack) and now if we don't blow everyone out we are "struggling."
It'll all shake out. SEC homers don't want to see us in the playoff. If you lose to an Ohio State or an Oklahoma, well, they're blue blood programs (with former SEC QBs to boot), no shame...but if their SEC powers run into Clemson...again, and they *lose*....AGAIN, the narrative is in trouble. None of them want to have to admit that the best football program in the country is in Upstate SC, in a basketball conference.
And they're right. They should be scared. Trust the system, we're right on schedule.
