that two wrongs don't make a right. I suspect the reply to the OP was to provide documentation to dispel the inflection of the OP and negate any possible relationship between supporting Trump or any man and the murder of innocent people of any color, nationality or religion.

Jan 30, 2017, 7:43 PM

Democratic party supporter.

He also likes U.S. Senator John McCain, a moderate Republican who has opposed Trump on some issues, President George W. Bush, the Canadian New Democratic Party and late Canadian politician Jack Layton, who was a leader of the left-wing NDP, so the likes do not shed much light on Bissonnette’s beliefs.

Just like Huffington Post initially did?

Jan 30, 2017, 7:55 PM

CLARIFICATION: An earlier version cited early reports identifying one of the men arrested by police to be Mohamed Khadir. His name is Mohamed Belkhadir and is not considered a suspect.

http://www.huffingtonpost.ca/2017/01/30/alexandre-bissonnette-mohamed-khadir_n_14495374.html

You can probably see as well, if not better than I can. In his pictures, does he look like a dark skin Moroccan man?

Weird how the article you posted makes the opposite

Jan 30, 2017, 7:52 PM [ in reply to He ws also a John McCain, GW Bush and Canadian new ]

point of the part you c/ped. Mainly you left out the interviews with friends who called him far right, xenophobic and ardent Trump supporter. Went on to say don't read too much into the likes since it didn't add up.

FWIW lots of folks "like" pages they don't actually like just to see the updates.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Not sure what to tell you.

Jan 30, 2017, 7:56 PM

I didn't write it.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

The OP's headline didn't state enough context?

Jan 30, 2017, 8:03 PM

There's no reason to say the same thing over and over. This was just another part to his personality.

I could have c/p the entire article, but aside from what I did c/p, what would have been new or different?

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Sorry misread the blurb. You actually included the part that

Jan 30, 2017, 8:06 PM

refutes your original post.

.the likes do not shed much light on Bissonnette’s beliefs

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

What refutes anything I posted?

Jan 30, 2017, 8:11 PM

I made no claim as to what his "likes" meant; I just posted that he did like these pages. And it was a simple copy and paste. There's no opinion involved aside from the op not posting this part.

Your mis-comprehension isn't my fault.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

You claimed he was a "supporter" of those figures.

Jan 30, 2017, 8:25 PM

Then followed it up with

>> I guess you won't make another thread with that though.

Why would he? It's inconsequential.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Liking a page is not an action of "support"?

Jan 30, 2017, 8:31 PM

I don't Facebook, but I probably wouldn't "like" something that I don't support, or even care about. Much like posts on here, I won't "TU" a post I don't like.

Is the fact he liked these pages inconsequential? Is the fact he was a "Trump supporter" also inconsequential?

I'm not sure anyone, at this point, can answer either one of those questions.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Jan 30, 2017, 8:44 PM

"everyone" is a broad statement,

Jan 31, 2017, 9:19 AM

as this is the first I've heard of it, from you.

And a Maxima is a fine car, if you like that sort of thing. Were I in the market for something in that class I'd probably buy a Lexus, or maybe even an M3, and if money were tight I'd probably choose an Accord over all of them.

But I'm not, and probably never will be. Those type vehicles don't tow a boat of any size.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

That's out of context enough to be a lie, Chuck.

Dunno. Ask Ted Cruz.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Your subject line is downright misleading, but you knew what

Jan 31, 2017, 8:59 AM

you were doing.

This type of misinformation is incredibly dangerous.

The article didn't state that he was a "White Nationalist" but you know what you did and why you did it. Your goal there is to mislead. The article states that he is a French Canadian with far-right nationalist views.

The article didn't state that he was a Trump supporter, but again, you knew exactly how it would be perceived. Your goal is to mislead. The article stated that he liked Trump's Facebook page. Did he like Trump's policies for the US? Probably. But again, he is a French Canadian.

This man is from Quebec and here's what the article states about Quebec...

"Canada is generally welcoming toward immigrants and all religions, but the French-speaking province of Quebec has had a long-simmering debate about race and religious accommodation. The previous separatist government of the province called for a ban on ostentatious religious symbols, such as the hijab, in public institutions."
