hope for the failure of players who leave early. I remember two years ago, posters on here were hoping Martavis Bryant and Bashaud Breeland would go undrafted. And then when both got selected, they were hoping they would get cut. Two seasons into their NFL career's and Bryant and Breeland are playing good. Bryant just made a catch for the ages last week.
The ironic thing is a number of the posters hating on those leaving early, are also the same people who told people to keep it classy or don't be a sore loser when the issue of officiating in the title game was brought up.

changing what people were saying. I think they may have been "predicting" those two not to get drafted highly or be successful, but certainly not "hoping" that would happen.

just thought they could do better by waiting. Still no way to know for sure, but during Sunday's game the announcer referred to Bryant as a "1st round talent picked up by the Steelers in the 4th round." Many thought their draft stock would improve with time, meaning better sign on bonus. Hard to argue.

I wanted the Panthers to draft both of those players in the 3 or 4th rounds. I selfishly wanted them to stay at Clemson. Some of these guys leaving early are just not NFL material.

than we do. It is a gamble for these guys to leave early, just like it is a gamble for Gallman to come back.
For each player who leaves early and eventually fails, there's probably at least one who returns and later regret.
Can't we just thank these young men for what they've done for our university, and wish them well? It is some of the posters on this board who are being selfish, and NOT the players who are leaving early.

Uh , on Gallman , there might be a plethora of RB's to come out this year . It would probably be a gamble for him to go this year .

Tay leaving early left huge sums of cash on the table....

it isn't about what he's doing, it's about what he's getting paid. Right now he's getting paid a 4th round contract to play like a high 2nd rounder. This week, with Brown out, he'll be their go-to guy even -
but still will be getting paid 4th round money.
No one's hating on Bryant. We're just wondering how someone can make such a bad deal....

guys hit the ground running at Clemson and contributed heavily to our success for 3 years. Same goes for Shaq Lawson.
I think the tendency is to become a bit more miffed at guys like Bryant who don't live up to expectations at Clemson then somehow parlay their potential and one good college season into an NFL contract.
