Which was your favorite mediocre Clemson Basketball team ever?

Mine was probably 93-94 because I was in high school and my buddy and I could drive there during the week and find seats cheap and easy. Man, those were good times!

I can’t remember anything about my university that was mediocre! Just one of my many faults I guess. Go Tigers. Beat the Canes!

My take ...

1) the 79/80 Bill Foster team - Moose Campbell, Billy Williams, Larry Nance, Horace Wyatt and Bobby Conrad. Undefeated 7-0 in ACC at home and 1-5 on the road. No TV in those days and refs were ridiculous homers who played to all home crowds. Team beat #1 Duke in Littlejohn 1/09/80 and made it to Final 8 of NCAA tournament. Still an unknown team.

2) early Barnes' years - the physicality and intensity was never higher for Clemson hoops.

3) any team with Terrell "Boogie" McIntyre -- he was a complete PG at 5'9" -- passing, breaking the press, bombing, defending and could get up and dunk. A hustler who made any game fun. Then a two-time Euro-League 1st team all-star. An all-time Clemson best.
