Which team is better 2012 Clemson or 2013 clemson?

I have seen a lot of people say this clemson team is the best in a long time... please explain how its better than last years?

I personally think last years team was better but I'm curious as to why some think this years team is.

2012 offense better. 2013 defense better. Probably close

Having Nuk would make the offense more consistent

And explosive.

Other than that, I don't see it. Despite last night, the defense has made noticeable improvement.

Nuk was the "franchise player" last year; you have to think we would average 10-14 points more a game w/ him

I say 2012. AE, Ford and Nuk were huge losses on offenses. I like our defensive scheme and pressure better this year and Anthony/Shuey are good LBs, but the secondary is still horrendous.

Last year had more talent w Nuke and AE... Injuries have hurt us this year at some of the Skill positions. Losing Charone was big...and Lord knows we need a running game...

Better defense this year, worse offense.

I generally prefer a team with defense. We will have to see how the team handles the next 6 weeks to make that judgement

defense, but obviously not as good offensively losing AE, NUK, Brown, and Ford.

Pretty even but I think the improvement on defense has been greater and helped us win the BC game. We don't win that game last year.

2012 Clemson team was the better team. 11 wins, Hopkins, Ellington.
