Since Alabama really didn't want to win this year. Or did I leave someone out above us?

I hope that don't have us ranked pre-season number one or anywhere near it. That is a curse. As Frank Howard once said, "I'd rather start at the back of the room and move to the front than start at the front, and move to the back." Hey guys, let's start at the back of the room. We can't beat Daniel HS, right? We won't win more than 4 games. I love it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but my understanding is that no team ranked pre-season #1 has ever won the national championship. If I'm wrong, you may fillip me on a three-man beadle.

I would take 10 or twenty---anything to dis-arm our opponents. The lower our pre-season rank, the higher the rage in our locker room.

I think they will have us at #1 openong day but will take the opportunity to move Bama up within a few weeks. Probably after our 1st Bye week.

First of all, isn’t this poll made up of coaches and not “ESPN”?
Second of all...who really cares. Not important
Third. Want to end up at #1 and the end of the ACC championship game so we can play in Atlanta. (2020 goal. Play in Rose ....clean sweep of the NY6 bowls).
4th. Be #1 again Jan 14th!

Imho...we will be ranked #2 or #3 ... we will stay #1 until the spring games are over and then we will drop behind Bama and possibly UGA...TL amd the offense will show out in our spring game because they are gonna be soooo good...but ESPN will say it’s because we lost so much on defense and our defense is suspect and we aren’t a complete team like Bama amd UGA!!! That’s my prediction!!!
