Looked like he had the shoulder pad and chest to me. But these refs have been in Alabama's pocket all night.

It was a horse collar. But why was the tackle on Etienne on the 8-9 yard run 2 plays earlier. On both plays the tackler had a hold of the shoulder pad from the back neck.
