When you're the CEO...

....you don't get to hang around for years trying to get it right. The Board and Stockholders have expectations. And make no mistake, college basketball -just like college football - is a business.

Whether one likes Coach Brownell or not is really not relevant. What is relevant is building the stock value and the stockholder return. It seems there hasn't been much change in stockholder return in 9 years. And for $2 million / year, there should be some.

Time to hire a new CEO.

Stockholders surely were happy to see the returns on their investment last year. From that standpoint, it was the most prosperous year in decades.
