Would that maybe be the best strategery? Maybe miss an extra point in OT to loose?

The 7-4 record doesn't show it but that was a good team. Very close losses to UGA, GT, SC were all decided on the other teams last possession. The Maryland game was the only bad loss.

We were 2 under Tommy bowden when we lost georgia tech the week before we got blown out by fsu

And they'll be out for vengeance. Look for a major statement in the "rival" game. Whole country will be eatching, hoping the coots can play the "rivalry - weird things happen" card, praying on our downfall.
But we're just gonna smash. Like every other weekend this year. Different mindset and skill set this year. And DW. It's a wrap if they focus on dominating their assignments and the guy on front of em... and they've worked too hard for too long not to dominate both.
Team has the spirit of Champions and you and I both can sense it. Comforts me, but you're likely crappin ur pants bc you know the coot program will cellar dwell for many, many years if what should happen, does happen. Champs.

We were #2 for in the AP poll on 9/10/84 and 9/17/84. We've been #3 a few times since, but those were the last ones above 3. Those a are from the media guide.
