When Philpot says Clemson to Sugar? It could happen

What exactly has to happen for us to have a chance? All the fair-weather Clemson "fans" responding with, we don't deserve it, we'll get blown out, etc., just save it.
We have lss chance of getting blown out by Florida in the Sugar than Texas Am or LSU in the Chick Fil A. Might as well go to the Sugar and give it a go.

Kansas St must lose to Texas, then Oklahoma wins the Big 12 and the Sugar has to choose between K State (lost last 2), Clemson (lost only 2 "real" games) and Texas (3 losses)
It's hard to believe, but there is a chance. I like us over K State, but Texas fan base allure could be tough to overlook. Texas losing to TCU helped.

How many fans would K State bring coming off 2 losses. Clemson would over run N.O. It's all about $$ at that point. Look at Michigan and VTech last year. The Hokies got trounced. Also pull for Nebraska to win Big10. We don't want Wisconsin getting the auto and putting Nebraska in the at-large pool

We have a better chance of getting blown out by a real team. Don't think they will pair us with Duke, State or Wake in the Sugar.

But according to Brad Edwards/ ESPN, in that scenario, the Sugar may have a deal to take Oklahoma and K-State would go to the Fiesta

is Oklahoma losing @TCU. OU is 11th right now, if they lost and Nebraska and FSU won, they would fall to 14th(behind us) at the very least. If they drop to 15th they aren't eligible. Now, whether we deserve it is another question. Of course, OU is winning games 50-49 and 51-48 so I'm not sure they are that much more deserving than us.
If Texas beats K.State, K.State would stay ahead of us, probably, and Texas would move into top 14, meaning odds would be slim for us in my opinion.
