... T-Net was constantly on his case for never being able to actually win an NCAA game ... back then, we made the field several times, but always lost right away, many times to a lower seed team.

In fact, T-Net was pretty consistently down on (not with) OP because his style of play made for so many defenseless high-scoring affairs that frequently allowed teams to come back from huge deficits to either win or come very close to winning games that the Tigers seemingly had well under control.

The general consensus on T-Net back then was that Oliver Purnell couldn't recruit the type of players it would take to move into the upper level of the ACC and many, if not most agreed that Clemson could and should do better than Oliver Purnell for a head basketball coach.

If you don't remember it this way, you simply were not paying attention.

T-Net is filled with coots and haters who frequently troll.

Of course people want moar for Clemson and want to win championships in everything. Shocking to me, people still complain about Dabo.

Just enjoy the seasons and try to put blinders on the idiots who do nothing but complain.

+There are so-called fans on here who will never be happy no matter who our coaches are. Sad that their whole existance goes down the tube when a group of kids (young men) loose a GAME. Pitiful.

OP left Clemson in an unsuspected rush when his wife and he were befriended by the DePaul president while at NCAA Championship Weekend and BB Coaches convention in Indianapolis.
He left an empty cupboard of incoming recruits and prospects. My guess is his record since coaching DePaul is not as good as Brad's at Clemson. Perhaps when they finish the on0campus arena at DePaul, OP and Ron Bradley will get the Blue Demons to the upper tier of the Big East. They are not there as yet.
