Elite DT has Clemson in top 5, I automatically think "in other words, there is a 20% chance he will come to Clemson." Is this really news worthy?

newsworthiness is maybe in the fact that not many years ago we didn't have that headline. I remember TB saying, the year before Spiller signed, that we were in the hunt for some 4 and 5 star type players that previously we didnt have a shot at, and that being in the hunt was the first step. Then Spiller signed the next year. Now we have elite players at almost every position who have us in their top 5.
At Bama, that is not news. Maybe next year it wont be here either.

Many of these elite prospects know each other, and they keep tabs on who is going where, etc. I love the fact that Clemson is mentioned by so many of them because it really encourages them to get on board while they can. There's nothing wrong with being viewed as a place where any and all 5-stars would want to come play. And it will only get better if a couple more 10 or 11 win seasons come our way!
