Can’t be, Auburn is great. I mean LSU is great, I mean Florida is great, I mean Miss St is great, I mean Kentucky is great. I’ve been told for 2 months straight that they’re all great, how could they not be great? We’ll need to check with ESECPN, I’m sure they’ll clear this all up.

I never understood how a coach who was considered to possibly be on the hot seat in the previous 12 months could get a massive contract with such a large buyout. LSU did something similar with Les Miles as well.

Of course with that buyout, we couldnt spend $ on a top notch coach, and settled for Dabo.

$3.5M for Bowden much more affordable than $32M for Malzahn, even with accounting for 10 years of inflation.

Auburn AD should be fired instead.

Any AD thats negotiates a contact like that should be fired. Coaches getting paid way too much. Buyouts are ridiculous. Perform and you don't need a buyout. Pay on performance.
