What's up with mizzou helmet logo?

Looks like tiger version of dumb NCSU wolf logo. Mizzou actually has a nice logo that they don't use on helmets. Weird.

I always liked the old M , pretty standard and was easily recognizable .

SEC rule stated that 2 team in SEC East had to have new helmet logo.
Coots and Mizzu had to ante up

from like the 40's. You can buy Clemson stuff with that logo. I saw one time that some artist drew it for some obscure school (like Pacific maybe?) but didn't copyright it, so every school has pirated it over the years.

drew football programs for Clemson, Auburn and several other southern schools. The Clemson and Auburn Tiger that he used were pretty much identical. Above is a typical example, the tiger usually standing up.

with a pill looking hat). I have seen the decal in stores DT. Its been around for years. Every school in the country must have used that design at one time including Clemson and NCSU.

....i have a problem with it as a helmet logo. Mizzou regularly changes their helmet logo because they lack a national brand. First time I've seen this helmet version.
