What’s up with Tiger Band sound while in seats?

Sounds like a microphone is directly between a cymbal player and euphonium player. Band sounded terrible over the speakers when playing from the seats. Would rather they turn off mic completely.

Other gripes:
- Let students cross over to other side of the hill until 5min before running down hill. There were a couple hundred kids stuck at top that could t get over. (Or redirect them to upper corner)

- Can we make the first 15-20 players run down the hill full speed before rest of team skips 2x2? Only Dabo runs down the hill. Let the first bunch rub the rock while band is playing then run down like rabid animals.

off tune horns was pointed right at it. Hope they get that fixed. I love that they amplify the band so all can hear and spell out C-L-E-M-S-O---N at the end of Tiger Rag.

By the way fans,

- you only put your hand up at the end of the alma mater on the last line: "O'er the mountain height." Many do it way too premature in the prior line ("That the Tiger's roar may echo"). Hand up AFTER "echo" and before "O'er."


- Also, slow down on C-L-E-M in cadence count cheer (1, 2, 3, 4, 1, 2, 3, 4 ...). The Clemson cadets marched to that cadence (not a sprint).

Never had any issues back in the day when the band was all volunteers. Heck we'd knock on doors asking students to just come out and carry a tuba, not a tune.
