I mean, you can get the luxury RV but then you're still stuck at a campground with campground people, right? Is there a luxury option? Like a Target of RV parks vs. your standard Wal-Mart?
At this point I can't see taking the fam on a plane or staying at any resorts either, FL is blowing up and we live in a beach/resort town anyway. Trying to find a semi-fun way to get them to Grandma's house to dump their ##### for a week or two.

campground right now. Every single one seems to be slap full every weekend.
I love the idea of a little motor home or travel trailer, but I feel like the reality would be a lot different. I see people at my boat storage preparing theirs for trips and it looks pretty miserable, to be honest. Like a boat, only less #### works like it's supposed to.

You can keep to yourself or be a social butterfly. Lately, my experience has been in Offroad parks so everyone there has a common interest whether we’re sleeping in a tent, a ‘74 slide in on a gooseneck crawler hauler ( think Clampets), or a $1/2 million Coach. When the sun goes down, we have a good time. Kids or no kids. Great people. Some places are dumps and some will surprise you. For instance, Kairos Resort is the nicest campground I’ve ever been to with regards to the sites, utilities, condition, upkeep, etc. it’s in the middle of nowhere. Who woulda thunk it. Some KOA’s....suck and are like a 1970’s time capsule. Point is, research heavily where you plan to stop. Pics may be good, but the experience can still suck... or the opposite.
RV’s and campers are a PIA if you don’t know how to use them. Get a crash course from someone you know. A couple of wrong moves can make dumping your #### a nightmare. Blown fuses, etc. make it a PIA if you don’t know what to look for.
Regular campgrounds? Probably more diverse and weird, but a lot have a draw of some sort otherwise they wouldn’t be there. Embrace the sketch, make some memories, and go for it.
