The amount of transfers under Brownell is

[5]
Posted: Mar 23, 2015 4:24 PM

Alarming. He cant recruit as is... and the decent players he does recruit end up leaving. Something is wrong here. The AD needs to address this problem.

What players that have transferred

out of Brownell's team have had superstar careers at their new school?

Grant did pretty well his senior year

Posted: Mar 23, 2015 4:28 PM

and Blossomgame/Grantham have all the potential in the world (may not have the defensive instincts as KJ though)

a superstar would be at least 3rd team ACC, no

[2]
Posted: Mar 23, 2015 4:30 PM

we have no one that would make 8th team ACC right now.

Thanks for pointing that out.

It doesn't matter. Any coach we hire should be expected

[4]
Posted: Mar 23, 2015 5:16 PM

to win more than Brownell has and bring in better players than Brownell has, regardless of what other coaches have done or who is to blame. Not saying "fire Brownell" nor am I bashing him, but just stating a fact. If his failures are due to circumstances beyond his control, so be it, but we have to have higher expectations than that for our basketball program, and he is the head coach.

Do you believe Dabo would be landing these big time classes if our facilities were in the bottom quarter of the ACC and he didn't have one of the highest paid staffs in college football? Thankfully, facilities are getting the major upgrade they need. He has 2 years to produce barring a meltdown next year. The rest of these discussions are simply ignorant. You don't get top dollar return on a 20 cent investment

I don't disagree, and in fact, I actually agree. The problem

[1]
Posted: Mar 23, 2015 5:39 PM

is, fair or not, the longer Brownell struggles and/or underperforms here, the more strongly he becomes associated with the failures. It may be unfortunate for him, but outdated facilities not withstanding, the head coach can't get a 100% free pass.

He won't, he has until the facilities are done

and a year in them. Then, either him or another will at least have a fighting chance

Re: a superstar would be at least 3rd team ACC, no

Devon Booker and Stitt both were coached to those criteria under Brownell.

Did he coach Buckner?

Congrats on a ###### argument expect no less from you.

I love how Brownell magically gets no credit for player development when it doesnt fit your sad little agenda.

That wasnt what you asked.

So his player development doesnt count?

You asked I delivered sorry the answer did not back up your bull ####.

Maybe you should wait until he has more than ONE Senior class go through before making claims like you are making.

duh Brownell inherited a dumpster fire

With no talent.... nevermind the previous NCAA trips and the fact he rode that "dumpster fire" talent to the dance his 1st year.

Link to anyone saying he inherited a program with no talent.

that means Devin Booker was a superstar

well its not exactly quality talent to begin with

Ok, I'm not saying we don't have to do some things better

but to criticize the man because a player that was majorly injured is transferring for playing time he will not see at Clemson is absolutely insane.

So if they can't contribute at other schools either

we should keep them?

TJ Sapp

We could have used him this year for sure.

I think we could have used Filer as well this year. He is not a "star" where he is, but it did hurt our chances this year.

Did they play, Duke, NC State, North Carolina, Louisville, Notre Dame, Virginia? Hmmm Maybe if we left the ACC we could make the big dance like some of the other teams like Murray State. Lets just tell the ACC we are going to transfer!!!!
